Agree with Schwalbenkoenig that the vehicle sign was likely hand-painted, but the letterforms appear to be based on AWT Wells Antique Light Extended (click for visual sample).

Dick Pape made a digital version some time ago, and Luc Devroye hosts Pape's collection of type on his website.
