Font(s) from classic *Social Text* journal article

Question

#1 "Alan D. Sokal"

#2: "and Discontinuity:"

I've ID'd the other fonts in this article via the auto-ID sites but no luck with these.

These two are very similar but to my eye the lower-case "a" is slightly different.

I've included a larger image with more of the second font, in the left sidebar.

I'm using these as part of an art project...
